This platform was created with the support of a partner network which includes the National Building Research Organization (NBRO), Entgra , Mitsubishi Corporation and the Canada Fund for Local Initiatives. We also sought technical expertise from Ranil Dhammapala, an Air Quality fellow of the US Department of State and advisor to Verité Research. One of the key objectives of airquality.lk is to help people understand the value of being aware about the quality of the air they breathe. We believe this will help them take the necessary precautions to protect themselves and others from the risks of air pollution. Airquality.lk is constantly working towards expanding its sensor network to make data available to citizens across the country. Currently, there is a significant gap in the availability of air quality data in the country. We at Airquality.lk are committed to bridging this gap by making our data on air quality in Sri Lanka more accessible to both the public and researchers
